Getting married?
Simchat Olam wedding band congratulates you and would like to share with you a few ideas about how to choose a wedding band:
How to choose a wedding band-
Here are some things to think about when choosing a band-
Stage 1 – Planning and coordination with you and the band
Sit down together and talk it over – what do YOU want from the band?
Which musical styles are you looking for? (Klezmer, Karlebach, modern Jewish etc.)
Are there any special instruments that you would like to have at your wedding?
Make sure you and the band have a clear understanding about what YOU need and want.
Stage 2 – Who are your guests?
You want your guests to dance and have a good time at your wedding, so keep in mind that:
Different audiences react well to different kinds of music.
For example - An audience that prefers a D J will not react to a band with the same enthusiasm – no matter how good the band is – because it’s just not what they like. Therefore – think about what kind of music you think your guests would like to hear. You might want to consider combining a band with a D.J.
